On 29 March 2013, Kolej Sinar representative went to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Yok Bin to hand over a RM300 cheque to the Principal as part of our effort to donate to schools in Melaka. Sinar College also is given a special space on notice board to publish the information about Kolej Sinar.
Kolej Sinar team participated in seminar by Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The seminar, ACCA Updates for Learning Partners which aim at providing all learning partners with latest developments at ACCA.

The seminar was divided into 2 sessions :
First session focused on:
- New developments at ACCA
- The future of the ACCA qualification
- Introduction to ACCA’s Competency Framework and other useful resources
Second session focused on:
- Overview of ACCA’s partnership with Oxford Brookes University and information about the BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting focusing on the Research & Analysis project
- Helping students choose and prepare for the Options papers
- Key messages from ACCA Examiners
Kolej Sinar had sent representatives to open booths and distribute brochures as part of its promotion during announcement of SPM result on 21 March 2013. We assigned persons to each schools. For that, we donated to each of the schools.

On 20 March 2013, Kolej Sinar team visited Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sultan Mansor Shah at Pulau Sebang. We arrived at SMK Sultan Mansor Shah at 2.oo PM and was welcomed by the head of counseling unit, Haji Atan. We then were greeted by the Principal, GPK and the rest of school staffs. They assisted us in the installation of the SPM Countdown so that it would be in perfect shape. We had meaningful discussion and they promised to give full cooperation in arranging collaborative activities between both parties.
On 20 March 2013, Kolej Sinar visited Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato’ Dol Said at Alor Gajah. We arrived there at 12.00PM. As the third largest secondary school in Melaka, we decided to form close relationship with such school through many ways. One of the contribution is sponsorship of SPM Countdown Board to the school. The school appreciates the quality of the board and it was installed at the assembly hall.
On 20 March 2013, Kolej Sinar team visited Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Jasin at Taman Maju, Jasin. We arrived at there at 9.00 AM and was welcomed by the counseling teacher, Ms Tan. As part of college’s effort to contribute to society, we decided to contribute a SPM Countdown Board to SMK Jasin. Ms Tan advised the place that is well viewed by pupil. We agreed and modified the board to adapt to the school’s request. The Principal gave us a warm welcome and we had some discussion upon installation of board.
On 15 March 2013, Kolej Sinar delegates participated in Himpunan Mahasiswa Anak Melaka at Dewan Seri Negeri, Ayer Keroh. The event was organized by Melaka state government to award best students in Melaka.The event officialized by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam, started at 2.30PM.
2 of Kolej Sinar ACCA graduates : Siang Shu Chen & Gwee Kok Keong received the Best Student Awards from Chief Minister.
Upon prize-giving ceremony, lucky draw event was held and Kolej Sinar team won one of the prize. The event ended at 7.30PM.
On 14 March 2013, Kolej Sinar team went to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tun Mutahir at 12.00PM and met with the Principal and teachers there. Kolej Sinar had discussed with the school and we had decided to contribute SPM Countdown Board. The Countdown Board was installed at assembly place.
It is part of the effort by Kolej Sinar to contribute to society.
On 14 March 2013, Kolej Sinar team went to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Durian Tunggal at 9.00AM and met with the Principal and teachers there. Kolej Sinar had decided to donate a SPM Countdown Board for school usage. The Countdown Board was installed at a place where the school plans to build a park and fountain.
It is part of the effort to strengthen ties between Kolej Sinar and schools around Melaka.
On 27 February 2013, Kolej Sinar team went to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Ayer Keroh, Tasek Utama again. This time we gave talk to nearly 100 students on the path, life, and prospect of tourist guide career. The talk was given by a practicing tourist guide who also runs travel agency company, Mr Nai Sin Heng. Interesting quiz was asked and students who gave the right answers received prizes from Kolej Sinar.
